I just want to tell you you have a great and needed site - Bill Harry
I am a HUGE Beatles fan. I left you a message at adland about free classified ads and helping to make money from your site. I just have to say how impressed I am about the information you have on your site. It is awesome!! I really don't see how I can help you, but maybe it's just the shock of how awesome your site is.
i`m 19 male from philippines
i know how every beatles fan hated our country
coz this is the only place on earth where john, paul, george and ringgo
was booed and shooed
well i`m with you guys
but most of you who hated us don`t know the real story

Glad to have found your website. It looks really good. I plan on visiting it often. I can't believe I've 46 and still as nuts about the Beatles as I was when I was 8. Only now I'm a bit more philosophical about them, and less neurotic.

New to the cyberworld .Not feelin the love of this machine yet.(expecting computer " Dave" to break in any minute! )Just wanted to let you know it's a fabulous website! Stumbled across it looking for info on collectibles I possess. No luck yet. I'm sure you're familiar with the animated cartoon series. I have 4 original art cells "templates" of the Fab4 and a set of Bobbleheads (sealed)..Could you give any suggestions on appraisal steps. Ebay (which scares me!) seems to have only reproduction stuff and all other sites only talk about series. I need to know value if possible so I don't get hot air blown up my Thanks for being out there. D. Austin, Texas P.S. Where 's home base.? Lately I seem to be talking to some computer person out of the USofA.
I really like your website...It is quite entertaining to read. I especially like the videos you have on the web page
Hey man- awesome site I love it. Fyi the latest album from coldplay XY
has a
blatant rip of Lennon's I want you(she's so heavy) its the last track
"twisted logic" on the album. It starts off exactly with the riff and
then
starts into something different -wierd to hear- check it out. Take care
keep
up the good work with the site!!

Hi
I was looking at your page on the Beatles and thought you would like a bit of trivia from someone who is in the same age group!
I am a Liverpudlian and when I was 16 I went to Butlins Holiday Camp with my friend and while there I went in for a singing contest. The group playing were Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, and the drummer was Ringo Starr.
I won the contest, (which didn't lead anywhere!) and when we came home, my friend & I used to go to the Orrel Park Ballroom where this same group used to play. Every week, I used to be asked to give a few songs (unpaid, of course!) that the people used to listen to and dance to .
It was a very enjoyable time of my life. We just used to get high on the excitement! and the fanta. No drugs or alcohol. Seeing that it was the 60's it's just as well that it passed me by in that way.
By the way, your page is really good.

I just came across your page by accident and there has only been a few people I have ever e-mailed to tell them what an awesome site. To me the music world stopped when the Beatles broke up..I was around 7 when they first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and it was love at first site. I am still in denial that Lennon and Harrison are dead and they won't ever get back together:) I remember trying for years to get my son who is now almost 22 to listen to them. He refused. I would get angry..and then one day he must have heard a song; and wanted to borrow a cd. Be careful what you wish for I guess..I never saw my cds again:) Had to either buy him his own or replace mine. I still have 45's and 33's of them too. I went to college in Boston in the early 70's...there was the unknown band that used to come in and play a few times a week. One of my roommates loved this band; my other roommate and I didn't think they were any good..Our response was always..They are not the Beatles--they will never make it. The band we got to see for free 100's of times was Aerosmith:) who by the way I understand now owns this club. Hey but they still aren't the Beatles:))
I'm having a moment. At this point' all I can say is "thank you". I must be going through a mid life crisis or something but, Thank you for being there man. I think I spent 3 hours reading every single piece of info on the site. Ahhhh those were the days. Thanks man.
I think your Beatles sites is one of the best out there, definitely the best source for the latest news; I keep it in my bookmarks and check it regularly.

Just wanted to write a quick email telling you that I think the site is wonderful. I remember just a few weeks ago the layout looked different, without the intro at the top and with the links all together. I can tell that you've been doing quite a bit of updates and they are all turning out nicely. Thank you for being an inspiration to my website that is still in its infant stages.
Thank's a million times plus ten for such a sight as

I was 13 yrs old in '64 and when I first heard the Beatles, I lost it. I told my mom and dad I had to have a guitar, so they got me one that Christmas, and I was in a band six months later with an electric guitar. John was my superhero. When he was murdered I only listened to Double Fantasy in my car for one year, nothing else. I have played music since 1964, been in many bands had somewhat of a minor career, opened for Charlie Daniels at the 79 New Years eve Superball, with Ambrosia, Little river band, cheech and chong, Sea leval, of the Allman Brothers, and also opened for Eddie Rabbit and Oak ridge boys during derby week in Louisville Ky where I live across the river in New Albany IN. It has been a great musical experiance, all because of the beatles. I can't say enough. You have the most incrediable site I have seen. THANK YOU! |

Sir you have one of the best Beatle websites going. I have been a big
fan
of the fab four since i first saw them on the ed sullivan show. I have
a
question for you concerning the song Helter Skelter. There is a
mention in
Beatles Anomailies of a 23 min version of the song. I have heard of
this
but have never heard it. Is there somewhere where i can listen to this
version of the song? Again thank you for putting such a great web
site
together''
Hi Dave, I just thought that you may be interested in what is happening way over here in New Zealand. On the 9th of March for my 44th birthday Me and my friend are off to a concert called "The Beatles with Roy Orbison" For me it is very exciting as I will get to see probably the closet group we ever would to the "Beatles" They are a group of young guys from Liverpool and are meant to be great impersonaters of the real thing. They are doing a tour of N.Z. and I know that at least 3 different cities here there will be John Lennons cousins sitting in the audience. One of my cousins who will be going was lucky enough to be at the 1964 concert in Wellington when they came here and she actually got to meet with John. It made the headlines in our papers all those years ago. The Beatles were never to tour N.Z. then but John decided to bring our Aunt Mimi out to visit with her family and she stayed with them on our family farm for a few months. If it wasnt for John having us Kiwi relations the Beatles would never of been to N.Z. I was only 2 years old then. I have been having great fun looking at your site as we dont get to hear about all the things that happen way over there in your part of the world, as you do not know about us over here in N.Z. Hope my little bit of info is of interest to you. Keep up the great work. Regards Vicki

| I think you have a really cool site. And plan to make my own someday. I too have been a big beatle fan since i was about four years old. I was given a bunch of beatle albums by someone i didn't know when i was four.I think it was George but have no proof of that. I used to play them all the time. to this day i still feel that john Lennon was my dad. strange but true. I have a strong spiritual relationship with both George and john.
Hello there. I have been a Beatle fan since 1964. I have made countless trips to England; the first led me to the steps of Apple and endless hours infront of EMI.In 1971 fate led me to work at Strawberry Fields childrens home in Liverpool. My reason for writting you is about the last picture on the Beatle picture page of your web sitte. Some people call it Beatles Spotlight. Since the song Strawberry Fields Forever came out; I have been searching for a copy of this picture as a 8x10 and better yet, a poster. No one one earth seems to be able to help me. Can you? Please? Thank you for any advise you can give me.
Whats up niners? Great site! If you guys are like me (and i'm sure you are) you probably feel like you've known John, Paul, George and Ringo most of your lives. They gave me my musicianship ( i'm a guitar player. What else huh ?) They gave me a appreciation of History and the pure power that music can produce. I don't think anything has ever quite captivated me like the Beatles and their music has and since the internet has appeared, with all these wonderful web sites like yours, I've found a way to marvel at them in an infinite realm. Your dedication and love of the Beatles is greatly appreciated by people like myself. Keep up the great work ! Beatles forever!!
|
I'm a huge Beatles fan too. But not as long, I wasn't alive when they
first
came out. But I am crazy about them. I have a cd my friend gave me with
all
their albums on it, and I enjoy listening to the music. (Who doesn't.)
All
of my friends don't really think much of them. They're into those "in"
bands
like Good Charlotte, Simple plan and Greenday. I am not certain but I
think
I might have "Beatlemainia" from how you describe it. I have read Paul
and
part of John's biography, and I am hoping to read more on George and
Ringo
too.
Well anyway, I was just writing to say hi and stuff.
I believe we are Cool us Beatlemanics. Often my husband says, you still don't want to go to Beatle venues and I say , yes, I am a beatle fan forever. They made me so happy during those years. I wish they could have gone on forever, but we will make them live on. Bless you.

Hi !!! Like most people in my generation I fell in love with the Beatles the very first time I saw them on The Ed Sullivan Show. I felt "puppy love," for the first time because Paul was the cutest guy I had ever seen. I think alot of girls went to bed that night heartbroken and didn't even know why they were feeling that way. I love your website. I think it is the best I have visited. Keep up the great work. I will always love the Beatles forever. My Dad died and a year later my Mom died right around the time Paul was going to have his first world tour so needless to say I never got to go see his concert in Denver. Sadly and tragically my oldest son, Mike, died in a car crash just 7 months after my Mother. The reason I am telling you this is because I felt like my mind was going to split in two, my dr. said I was working on a complete breakdown. On Sundays there was a time where it is all Beatles, between listening to that show and listening to my CDs all in my car, it seems Iike I drove enough for a lifetime that year playing songs over and over it helped me survive. I have no idea why I just told you all of this. I guess I just wanted to give you a reason why I am such a devoted fan and the impact they had on this lady. It has been a horrible time in my life, I go faithfully to grief/trauma therapy twice a week now. The Beatles Music helped me stay alive when I didn't want to be. It also helped because just like all the people in my age group who know all of the words to these songs It was wonderful to know something in my mind that I knew, word for word, that would soothe me. I couldn't think very well so this was great too. I am sure I am boring the heck out of you. But basically I wanted to just say Thank You for having this sight. It's awesome and I sincerely am very happy that you have done this. Peace Always |
I just wanted to mentioned that I was very sad to hear about the Michael Jackson verdict. I know in my heart he is so guilty. I'm sure all other Beatle fans are upset because as you know he owns the copy rights of the Fab Four's music. I think he should be locked up for it.
People who do bad things to "good people AKA The Beatles" will have hard times and that's what has happened to Mr. Jackson.
Also, I was very sad to read about the girl Lucy passing away that inspired the Beatle's "Lucy in the sky with Diamonds".
Hey from a fellow Beatlemaniac!
The only difference is...I'm only 16 years old, I was alive when the Fab Four was around, and I never got to see the groovy 60s (which is really a shame, because reading about all that stuff is so interesting). But I've always loved the Beatles. Recently I discovered your website, which I love, and I visit it just about every day. Thanks for taking the time to make such a wonderful website! You might also call me a long haired freaky person...my hair is down below my bottom.
|
How are you? I feel fine. I'm also just another beatlemaniac. I love them. Have you ever imagined to see The Beatles together again?....No...I'm not crazy. I just re-create the group.Imagine Julian Lennon, he is a Lennon's facsimile. Dhani Harrison, he's another facsimile and Paul and Ringo. ...THE BEATLES AGAIN!. What do you think? Do you really think that could be possible someday? ...I hope so.
Dave: Your newsletter is The Bomb!...don't ever quit! Sleep well knowing hundreds of us...(ok,me) appreciate all your hard work. -with love from me to you...
I don't know why this keeps happening. All these Terrorist attacks. Life seems so different than going back 25 years ago, doesn't it? It is scarry now. At least with the memory of the Beatles and the happiness they and their music brought to me and many others throughout the past years, I will be ever so thank ful to them. I am also so happy there are people like you out there whom keep the memories of the Beatles still alive. I will forever be a dedicated fan. Happy Birthday to Ringo this past week too. Have a great night.
Dave: Rest assured that I not only read your newsletters, I have them sent to a special "number 9" folder in my e-mail account. And I'm saving every one
I've gotten until I can get my own printer and print them out. I think yours is just about the best Beatles e-newsletter going. Keep putting it out as long as you can. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know what a great site you have. Specially love the puzzles.
Excellent Beatles site. I’ve just spent several hours browsing it and I’m sure to be back often. One error I simply can’t overlook is Octopus’s Garden on http://beatlesnumber9.com/fact.html page is incorrectly credited to Lennon/McCartney. I’m sure you are aware, it was definitely written by Starkey (with a little help from George). (fixed)
|
I will most certainly visit the Beatles site regularly. It's all we have left after the death of George Harrison and John Lennon. Why did everything have to end this way, so tragically, I often wonder. It would have been so nice if they would have all been alive and healthy. Then we could look forward to a live concert one day. But it wasn't to be. The only thing that we can do now is to treasure what we've got and with your help I'll be able to do that. With a little help from my friends, as Ringo would say. Thank you. |
Hello, I just wanted to comment that your web page is fab, and to say that yes Brian did have an affair with John, if you want to call it that. A while back I seen a coffee mug that you were selling, do you still have them? and how much are they?
|
Hey, just thought I'd spread a little goodwill here...I'd want you to know what a great site you've got going here. Those videos on the lost tapes provide some great insight! I can't tell you how much I love those funny animations, what a gas! I don't know how often people tell you how much they appreciate the site, but keep up the great work! |
Paul will be 64 in 2006. Do you know of any plans for a celebration related to the When I'm 64 Song that Paul sang? Ringo has already passed that age, If he had a special celebration, I missed hearing about it.
Hi David, Great site & I really enjoyed it!
I don't ever remember losing an entire evening on a website. I enjoyed
your efforts tremendously, thank you so very much! What a great
website.
FYI, I am 54 years old (I can't believe it), saw Hendrix twice and
Cream
twice (37 yrs. apart), but there has never been a group like the
Beatles.
I feel like I barely scratched the surface of the info and
entertainment
you have provided. I will return.
|
| I find the group dynamic of this whole thing quite
amazing. To consider that some REAL normal guys, got
together, maintained their integrity, and made some
people happy, is nothing to sneeze at. I find
biographies on people very interesting. And, as I am
into writing and such now, I find it interesting to
realize just how much WHO writes the bio affects what
you come to understand.
Hi, I love your website! It's literally one of the only beatles
websites with interesting and up to date information. I was wondering
if you have any of the videos in higher quality or different formats? I
would love to see strawberry fields video in higher resolution it looks
great! Also, the Hey Jude video was always a favorite when I was a kid
and you have a copy that is great to watch but would be even better in
a larger size. Please e-mail back, I am very interested and thanks
again for a great website!
Derek played mouthpiece to the Beatles. I'd have loved
his job. Not because it was the Beatles; but because
the Beatles seemed to have such great attitudes. Oh, I
know they were all too human; but to have that sort of
fame strike...they were a good bunch for it to happen
to.
|
I think Strawberry Fields should be preserved and made into a museum for Beatles
stuff. I've read that the area where it is located is now a rough
area of town, so that may not be feasible. Whatever else happens, the
gate must be preserved as it is. I will sign the petition if it is on
the internet. I've been to the gate, but would love to visit the
inside.
|
I was checking out your Web Site & really enjoy it!! I'm 54 (55 in March) & have been a BEATLES fan since 1964. Love the site & I'll be checking back often!!
I made a collage and i was wondering if maybe you could post it if you like it but either write back so i know to look or not. I love your site it's cool.
Interesting David. How did you get this site up. It sounds like Paul likes to be front and center for attention re: the concert for the G8 in London. I read about it today in the Star. Where do you live, Canada or the U.S.A?
|
dude i love this site.
You do sound like a hard worker. You do put alot of time into it. I think Paul is a good guy, and he does work hard. I am glad that he is still singing and performing that is great at his age. I really give it to him.
This is a great Beatles site on the net for old Beatles fans like myself & young ones who have just discovered them even though sadly not as many as in years gone by. The video of John Lennon with Keith Richards & Eric Clapton as the Dirty Mac doing Yer Blues in the Stones Rock & Roll Circus is about as cool as you can get. Do you know if you'll be having any videos from The Concert For Bangladesh on this site as well as the Revolution video which is my all time favorite Beatles video? I do have a suggestion that you should have the the complete performance of the Beatles first appearance on Ed Sullivan on 2/9/64 with all 5 songs instead of split up with All My Loving & She Loves You. Wayne
I found your site on the Beatles top 100 sites site.
You were/are #5 or something. Anyways, I look forward
to seeing your site in the future.
|
Hey, great site you've got. I'm especially impressed by the complete lyrics to Revolution 9! I remember I bought a magazine around 1996 and it was the first time the lyrics had been transcribed in full, but then I went and lost the mag and couldn't find the lyrics anywhere!
Rest assured that I not only read your
newsletters, I have them sent to a special "number 9"
folder in my e-mail account. And I'm saving every one
I've gotten until I can get my own printer and print
them out. I think yours is just about the best Beatles
e-newsletter going. Keep putting it out as long as you
can. Thanks.
I am reading a book from the library about John Lennon....by Albert Goldman. Reading this book has started me to do some research on the internet regarding John Lennon. While the book may be an account of his life by a writer, I think the author misses the true point....The Beatles were the spokesmen for the 60s .... we grew up with the beatles, loved and laughed with them and of course they were far from perfect but they didn't pretend to be that. I'm changing the subject to John Lennon's wife Yoko because I think she was quite a misunderstood lady and has done much to perpetuate the legend of John and she also made me feel very good today by something she said: I quote, "Every drop in the ocean counts. I'd like to tell you a very simple thing that we can do. Every day, do something that makes your heart dance. And if your heart is so depressed that you can't dance, then do something that will make other people's hearts dance...it could be as simple as giving a phone call. If you kept doing that for three months, you'll see an incredible change in your life. Your life totally changes. And if your life changes, well, in the same manner, we can change the world, too". Yoko Ono. I've watched the videos on John Lennon and Yoko and I think they were truly in love and that John had finally found peace before his life was tragially taken. Thank you John, Paul, George, Ringo....for the happy days!!!!!
G’day, Excellent Beatles site. I’ve just spent several hours browsing it and I’m sure to be back often. John
